Overview
Straight into the second year
Diploma holders are admitted through the Lateral Entry Entrance Test, and their scholarship is assessed on diploma marks rather than 10+2 marks.
Lateral entry admits a student directly into the second year of the degree, saving an academic year of study and fees. The programme combines classroom teaching with practical work in the laboratories, so diploma holders build on what they already know rather than repeating it.
